Courses We offer the following standard courses, or we can customize courses to suit your organization's needs. We offer our courses through public institutions and onsite at your location. Microsoft Project 2003 - Introduction Duration: 1 Day In this course, you will learn to plan, track and control projects. You will enter, analyze, and track project data. You will learn how to update a project in progress and generate reports. Practical techniques and tips for best practices are provided. The course includes hands-on lab time, using Microsoft Project, to walk through the steps of planning and tracking a project. The focus of this course is on managing a single project and exposing students to the features of a project management software tool. Microsoft Project 2003 – Advanced (with Case Study) Duration: 2 Day In this course, you will learn to plan, track and control multiple projects. You will learn to centrally manage project portfolios and resources for all projects across your organization. You will learn how to implement a simple timesheet process, update projects with actual costs and work, and create custom reports on project status and resource usage. Practical techniques and tips for best practices are provided. The course includes hands-on lab time, using Microsoft Project, to walk through the steps of planning and tracking a project. A case study is provided to supplement the practical exercises. Microsoft Project Server 2003 – Enterprise Project Management Duration: 2 Day In this course, you will learn about the components that make up the Enterprise Management Solution. You will learn to centrally manage project portfolios and manage resources for all projects across your organization. You will learn how to implement a timesheet process, publish projects to the web and exchange information with project team members and other stakeholders, and track progress. Practical techniques and tips for best practices are provided. The course includes hands-on lab time, using Project Server and Project Professional to walk through the steps of defining, planning and tracking a project. A case study is provided to supplement the practical exercises. We can provide training for each role or department within your organization that interface with the system. Our training manuals have been developed in-house and include tips, best practises, a glossary, and tables which help participants plan their approach before entering data.
